This is an interesting question that my friends have been discussing for the past week. What do we moms really want for Mother’s Day? Do you want a big home cooked meal with lots of friends and family or do you just want to be left alone? What about a gift? Would you like for someone else to pick out your gift or would you prefer to pick it out yourself? Will you be okay with a candle or are you expecting jewelry?
All of these are really good questions. I think the consensus with my friends is that we would love a day where we didn’t have to do anything. We’d love a day to put our feet up, relax, and let someone else do all the things. Sure, a gift is always welcome, but I’m probably also going to buy one for myself as well.
