It’s finally here – Christmas 2020. Every year I try to decorate completely different than I did the last year. I just love the creative process of Christmas decorating. To see my whole Christmas home tour check out my video and photos below. I hope you find an idea you can use in your own home.

The first tree you will find in my home is in the entryway. This tree features a wooden toy collection that my woodworking father has made over the years. Around the tree and on the walls I placed some artwork by my mother. If you look closely you will also see Santa near the top of the tree. This is my Santa inspired tree theme. To see the details of this tree, check out Santa Clause Inspired Christmas Tree.

Nature Inspired Christmas Tree
My formal living room, which is more really more casual than formal, features my largest tree. It’s 12 foot and very full. This is the first time I have placed it actually in the living room. To see more about this tree, check out My Nature Inspired Christmas Tree Theme.

Christmas in the Dining Room
This year I decorated my chandelier and added a garland table runner. I also made a couple of vignettes to sit below my paintings in the dining room. You can see more about my garlands in How To Decorate With Garland.

Family Room
In the family room I did my traditional red and gold, but punched it up this year with some magnolia, poinsettias, and green ribbon. You can see more about the details of the tree in this room in A Classic Red Christmas Tree. I also added a new garland to my windmill. You can see how I decorated my windmill in the video below.

Christmas in the Bedroom
I never get around to decorating my bedroom, but this year I added a little garland to the mantel. I actually did this garland twice because I moved my decorations around, so you can see two looks for this mantel. Now I’m trying to figure out what I can leave on it after Christmas. To see more about this garland, see How To Decorate With Garland. You can also see how I painted the painting above the mantel in Easy DIY Wall Art Idea: How To Make Acrylic Skin Artwork.

Well, that’s it. What do you think? I thought it turned out great, but leave me a comment below and let me know what you think. I’d love to hear from you. What is your favorite part? Me? It’s a toss up between my snowy hydrangeas and my windmill garland.
