No bake cookies are my favorite cookie recipe. These cookies are so easy to make and perfect any time of year. Make these for an after school treat or make them at Christmas. I love to make these and a double batch of Chex Mix. It’s the perfect sweet and salty combo. These are so easy to make that even my kids can make them.

The Cookie Recipe
Ingredients:
2 Cups of Sugar
1/4 lb. (1 Stick) Butter or Margarine
4 Tbsp. Cocoa
1/2 Cup Milk
1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
3 Cups Oats (Quick Cooking or Old Fashioned)
Directions:
Combine sugar, margarine, cocoa, and milk in a large pot on the stove. First, melt the butter and add the sugar, then cocoa and milk.
Bring this mixture to a boil and let boil for 1 minute.
Remove from heat.
Add peanut butter and stir until melted.
Gradually add the oats until completely mixed in.
Drop spoonfuls onto foil lined pans and let harden.

It depends on how big your spoonfuls are as to how many cookies this recipe makes. I always double this recipe and I get two and a half large sheet pans full of large cookies.

They don’t last long in my house! Everyone loves these. They are especially delicious straight out of the pot while still warm and before they harden. This cookie recipe is certain to draw a crowd, so be prepared with evasive maneuvers!

Here’s the cocoa I use!
